Secrets of staying young

Aging is a natural and inevitable process. I seem to hear some of you say why unfortunately, it is good to mature, every age has its own beauty. I personally; I am one of those who say that my soul may grow old, but my skin should stay a little younger. In this article, I will give you tips on methods that delay skin aging.

The most important cause of skin aging is UV rays. In my previous article, I gave information about UV. As a reminder, UV-A is more responsible for phototoxic and photoallergic events. With the increase of free oxygen radicals with UV rays, it causes premature aging and deterioration in the elastin and collagen structure of the skin. The skin elasticity decreases and becomes easily damaged. Therefore, the use of sunscreen products causes us to age more slowly.

antioxidant agents; They are agents that protect the skin against the damage of free oxygen radicals released by UV rays. Vitamin C and vitamin E are the most mentioned antioxidants today. You can take them with your favorite fruits and vegetables. It can be taken orally as a supplement. Or, photoaging can be combated by removing the creams and serums from the skin in the content of many products.

Selenium is an element that protects cells in seafood and meat from oxidative stress. Its protective effect against UV is known.

Coenzyme Q (Ubiquinone) is included in the content of many cosmetic products due to its antioxidant effect. Studies have shown improvement in skin moisture and fine wrinkles in patients using ubiquinone.

Zinc increases cell proliferation and collagen synthesis in damaged tissue. Its protection against UV has been proven.

Beta carotene provides protection from UV by prolonging the minimal erythema dose. As the levels decrease with UV contact, the need for beta carotene support arises. 120-180 mg/day for adults and 30-120 mg/day for children can be used to protect from UV damage. My advice is to take a little more beta carotene, which is abundant in carrots, oranges and tomatoes, in the summer. Bioflavonoids; It is found in citrus fruits, apples, strawberries, blackberries, cauliflower and potatoes. We can also benefit from them in protecting from UV damage.

It has been proven that UV-related damage, redness and sunburns are reduced with green tea ingredients. Coffeeberry, which is obtained from the coffee plant, is a powerful antioxidant, and in a study, it was shown that it provides a significant improvement in fine wrinkles and spots with 6 weeks of skin rub treatment.
