Scar treatment and skin rejuvenation with fractional laser

Non-ablative Skin Resurfacing (Fractional Erbium Glass Laser)

How does the Fractional Non-ablative Skin Resurfacing System work?

Fractional Non-ablative laser system (Erbium Glass) emits light in microcolumns and creates coagulation areas under the skin. In these columns, the natural healing process begins, which will form new, healthy tissue.

In which regions can it work?

Fractional Non-ablative skin resurfacing system can work safely on many body areas such as face, neck, décolleté and hands.

Other skin resurfacing of the Fractional Non-ablative Skin Resurfacing System What are the differences with the methods?

Although the results are very good in CO2 laser applications, which remove the epidermis and a part of the dermis, redness and discoloration lasting several weeks may restrict social life. In this method, while the stratum corneum, which is the top layer of the skin, remains in place, it sends impulses to the epidermis and dermis, which provides rapid healing.

In the fractional laser, 2 heads are used for the problem:

10mm head:Although it covers a smaller area, it goes down to the deeper layers of the skin and is effective in removing deep wrinkles and acne scars, tightening the soft tissue, shrinking the pores, and renewing the skin.

15mm head: It acts on the surface of the skin with a larger area it covers. Therefore, its main effectiveness is on the spots formed on the surface of the skin. It is used in cases where there is an increase in pigmentation such as sun and age spots, spots that occur during pregnancy (melasma).

With both heads, an average of 20% of the skin is affected in 1 session. Therefore, the recommended number of sessions is 3-5 sessions. In general, visible results begin to appear from the 3rd month.

Are the treatments painful? What should I expect after treatment?

There may be redness, warmth, edema and tension in the treatment area, which disappear within a few hours. The pinkish appearance on the skin can often last 5-7 days. After the application, you can usually return to your work and other daily activities. The reason for the rapid healing is the areas of intact tissue around the heat columns. Most of the treated people notice the positive changes in the skin within a few days. A series of treatments at 3-4 week intervals is sufficient to see the desired results. Your treating doctors will give you more detailed information about fractional non-ablative skin resurfacing techniques and expected results.

Fractional Non-ablative Skin Resurfacing allows us to achieve both good results and rapid recovery. Microscopic heat columns reach the deep layers of the epidermis and dermis.
