Hair transplantation with baldness (androgenetic alopecia) and dhi (pencil technique)

Androgenetic alopecia (AGA, ordinary baldness, male/female pattern baldness) is a progressive, genetically inherited disease that causes hair loss in men and women, with a frequency ranging from 23 to 87% all over the world, and can have important social effects.

In a study involving white men; It was detected in 30% in the 30’s and 50% in the 50’s. In a similar study on women; It was found to be 12% in the 20s and 30% after the 30s.

In the treatment; Although drugs such as minoxidil, cyproterone acetate, flutamide are used, they are not preferred much today due to both the side effects of the drugs and the fact that the hair continues to fall out when it is stopped.

Hair transplantation is at the forefront as the most effective treatment today. In hair transplantation, which is an operation performed by doctors and health care teams, which is used more and more frequently in the world, resistant hair follicles in the nape area are collected and transplanted into the area that has caused baldness or thinning of the scalp.

There are 3 basic methods used in hair transplantation.

In the FUT technique, hair follicles are removed along with a certain width of skin in the nape area. Hair follicles are separated from the removed piece of skin and sowing is performed with the canal method (channel opening with 1 mm sharp-tipped needles). Due to the fact that the opened channels are wider than the hair follicles, it may cause the hair follicles to change direction after hair transplantation. Transplanting with the root canal method may not always provide the natural hair appearance. Another important disadvantage is that there is a scar due to the piece of skin taken in the nape area.

In FUE technique; The hair follicles collected one by one from the nape are made by opening 1 mm channels with the canal method as in the FUT technique. Again, as in the FUT technique, natural hair appearance may not be achieved in this technique.

IMPLANTER PEN DHI HAIR TRANSPLANTATION in technique; Hair follicles collected from the nape area are placed at the tip of a special pen with a hair protection chamber. The tip of the Implanter Pen pen, which is smaller than 1 mm, is inserted into the baldness area to be transplanted on the scalp, and the hair follicle in the sheltered chamber is transplanted without any damage while withdrawing. It allows us to get results from hair transplantation with the highest efficiency without causing hair loss. Thanks to Implanter Pen pens; Since there is no trace in the transplantation area and the ability to direct the hair root is much higher, hair transplantation is performed in accordance with the natural hairline. Thanks to the Implanter Pen pen tips smaller than 1 mm, bruising and bleeding do not occur and thus, it provides much faster recovery and return to social life.
