The American Academy of Dermatology agrees that gold needle and CO2 fractional laser combinations are the most effective in the treatment of acne scars. That’s when we all think
What is this golden needle?
The needles with gold tips pass through the upper layer of the skin without damaging the epidermis, sending fractional radiofrequency energy to the dermis underneath. Thanks to this energy, the skin is heated and it triggers the repair of damaged collagen and the production of new collagen. This powerful effect offers hope in areas where we are helpless. These include acne scars, pregnancy-growth stretch marks, scars and burns, sagging on arms and legs, sweating, recovery of neck and décolleté, and pore tightening.
As one of the prominent methods in non-surgical skin rejuvenation, it can be applied regardless of summer or winter.
People can apply on the face, décolleté, neck and jowl area, around the eyes, hands and stretch marks, and around the abdomen, legs, hips, arms and waist. There are 25-64 gold-plated micro needles in the device and these needles can shoot from 0.5 to 3.5 mm depth. After cleansing the skin before the procedure, local anesthetic cream is applied, making the procedure extremely comfortable. Intense redness in the first 6 hours after the application and mild redness that turns pink within three days can be observed. In addition, it is extremely normal to see punctate bleeding foci, and they will fall off on their own within three or four years. Playing with the crusts is not recommended as it delays healing. Your dermatologist plans to apply between 4-6 sessions once a month by creating a personalized calendar. It is recommended not to take a shower on the day of application, to apply moisturizer and sunscreen. The person can return to his normal life in a few days.
