In dry skin, sebum, that is, natural oil secretion, is weak. Generally, sweat secretion is also below normal. Therefore, it tends to be sensitive. Excessive dryness on the skin surface disrupts the balance of the acid mantle that protects the skin against bacteria. This is the reason for the sensitivity.
On the other hand, dry skin looks pale, tense and stressed as if it will crack, especially after washing with water. Until the moisturizer is applied. Exfoliation and cracking of the skin are signs of excessive dryness and water loss.
Most children under the age of 10 and most people over the age of 60 have dry skin. Such skin consists of thin layers and stretches after washing, easily reddens. It is very prone to wrinkling. Especially around the eyes are filled with lines at an early age.
Skin dryness increases in the wind, in extremely hot and cold weather, in air-conditioned environments. It is dull and matte, especially on the cheeks and around the eyes. Expression lines are formed in exactly the same places, namely around the eyes and around the mouth.
§ The general reason for dry skin is that the sebaceous glands under the skin do not produce enough. As a result, the skin cannot retain water and becomes dry.
§ This trait is usually inherited.
§ Another reason is nutritional problems. Especially lack of vitamin A, B vitamins and unsaturated fats cause the skin to dry out.
§ External factors dry out the skin in summer. Environmental factors include sun, wind, chemicals, cosmetics, harsh soaps, hot water and frequent washing.
TAP WATER IS NOT FOR YOU
First of all, avoid washing your face with tap water. If not filtered, tap water is not a chemical that dry skin can handle. And never swim in hot water. When you want to cool your face, use natural mineral water. While washing your face, stay away from tissues that may irritate such as washcloths and pouches. Spray your face with natural mineral water in the morning. You can use a clean flower watering spray bottle for this purpose.
MOISTURIZER
Before applying the moisturizer, lightly wet your skin with mineral water or rose water. This wetness stays under the cream, increasing moisture and elasticity. After taking a bath or shower, apply baby oil all over your skin before it dries completely.
Before going to bed at night, apply a natural moisturizer and massage to help it absorb. Use creams generously, especially where lines appear around the eyes.
I always refrain from this, never use hot water while taking a bath or shower. And stay out of the sun as much as possible. The sun is to blame for dryness, wrinkles, spots and itching.
DAY HUMIDIFICATION
Spread a natural moisturizer on the skin that you have just cleansed, toned and lightly moistened. Apply all over your face, including the neck, cheeks, chin and around the eyes.
My advice to men is to apply moisturizer twice, after shaving and ten minutes later. .
NIGHT CREAM
After cleansing and toning your skin, spray with natural mineral water and lightly moisturize. Remove moisture with a soft towel, then apply moisturizer from the neck up. Wait for 5 minutes to absorb. You can even put a hot towel on your face and increase its absorption. Men may skip the tonic part. However, they should at least take care to nourish the sensitive skin around the eyes with cream.
Do not forget to protect your beautiful face from the sun, heat, wind, cigarette smoke and air conditioners…
Stay with love,
