It is a form of skin restructuring that we use when we want to tighten the pores, for example, to dry the acne in acne-prone skin, applied by the doctor after the pores are cleaned and the skin is purified, and your social life is almost not affected.
Small micro cannulas enter the skin at a speed that the person cannot perceive pain, creating micro channels. The micro channels made on this skin are filled with new cells and small cell foci are formed in the skin. Meanwhile, the pores are filled and the existing acne on the skin is forced to dry quickly.
A rash that lasts for a maximum of a few hours is an application where there is not a single permission to do anything after 1 day. Afterwards, a very light chemical peeling can be added on patients with denser pores to achieve an even more effective tightening. It is often applied as 1 and 6 sessions in 2 weeks.
DERMAPEN AND CRACK TREATMENT
While these micro cannulas, which are based on micro cannula opening, are repaired in the cracks, which can be effective even in old cracks, they are filled with new cells and the gaps between these cracks, which are formed due to the stretching of the skin, begin to be erased point by point. Again, a minimum of 6 sessions, once a week, depending on the size and width of the crack, may require a second package in some patients. 5-10% removal can be achieved in each session.
What causes surgical scars?
A surgical scar is a wound formed by all layers due to surgery. Since it is usually an incision, modification of all layers is necessary. A surgeon cannot control all the factors that determine the appearance of scars because many factors play a role in wound healing after treatment in the surgical field.
How can it be treated?
Surgical scar includes all scars including hypertrophic and keloid scars as well as pigmentation defects. These scars thicken over time. Dermapen® provides superior treatment than other methods and dermaroller thanks to its unique vertical needling and depth control up to 2.5mm. With its 11-needle cap, it fully penetrates the scar tissue and increases the appearance, flexibility, size and mobility of the wound site.
Scar tissue treatments may require more than one treatment, and results and treatment panel may vary depending on the severity and type of scar tissue.
What causes acne scars?
Scars have areas of fibrous tissue (fibrosis) instead of normal skin after injury. Wound repair in the skin and other tissues of the body results in scarring in the biological process. Scarring can be very small lesions, as well as at any wound site (eg accident, illness, post-surgery). Scar tissue contains the same protein (collagen) as the tissue it replaces, but the protein fiber composition is different.
In the scar tissue, the collagen is aligned in one direction and a thicker appearance is obtained. Acne treatment is a long-term application and wounds can cause scarring. Hormone disorder, allergies, environmental factors and nutritional deficiencies are among the many causes of acne.
Excessive oily skin and dead skin cells can cause an inflammatory response reaction of acne scars. The deformation of the skin’s collagen and its thickening and healing causes scar tissue.
How are acne scars / surgical scars treated?
Dermapen ® can provide radical results in the treatment of scars. Dermapen ® stimulates collagenesis with new collagen and elastin stimulation and provides new capillary formation and can increase blood flow to the region. Increasing blood flow creates a healthy foundation for new skin. With “skin needling”, uneven scar tissue is broken up and new tissue growth is stimulated. Dermapen ® accelerates the healing process and does not disturb the integrity of the epidermis while treating the area, causing less pain.
How Many Sessions of Treatment?
You should consult a professional in terms of medical treatment. Every patient is different and conditions can vary. Typically, a treatment regimen consists of 5-6 sessions.
Wrinkle Removal / Anti-aging
Skin wrinkles often appear as a result of the aging process, as a result of thinning of the epidermal layers of skin that has lost its ability to retain moisture. Skin wrinkles are caused by aging, repetitive facial expressions, sun damage, smoking, poor hydration, and various other factors. Dehydration occurs when the total amount of water in the body decreases, which can cause skin shrinkage.
Over time, the dermal layer of the skin becomes thinner and less collagen is produced over time. Under the dermal layer of the skin, there is a subcutaneous layer where fat cells are more concentrated to support the upper layers of the skin.
How can Dermapen prevent wrinkles?
Dermapen application is a therapeutic protocol for the deterioration of skin formation over the years. Dermapen ® supports the process of protecting the integrity of the skin with Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT). Dermapen ® provides vertical micro needling with a 90 degree angle. With 11 needles of 33 gauge thickness, collagen stimulation can be performed quickly and easily with minimal epidermis damage.
How many sessions of Dermapen treatment is required?
You can get professional support according to the different patients to be applied. Different skin conditions may require different treatment protocols. Depending on the skin conditions, we can see the desired results with 2 to 6 Dermapen sessions. Dermapen sessions repeated every 6 months can provide us with more permanent results in wrinkle treatment.
A burn is a type of injury caused by heat, electricity, chemicals, light, radiation or friction. In most burns, only the skin (epidermal tissue and dermis) is affected. Burn pain is common and can result in scarred healing. Systemic follow-up is very important in burn injuries.
Scar contracture in a burn refers to skin scarring after a second or third degree burn. When the skin burns, a contracture may occur in the surrounding tissue and it begins to pull the surrounding tissues.
How can it be treated?
A burn scar includes all forms of hypertrophic and keloid scars and pigmentation defects that thicken over time.
Dermapen ® provides superior burn scar treatment compared to other methods with its unique vertical needling and depth control up to 2.5mm. With automatic needling (1 needle is 33 guage size), treatment is provided significantly by increasing the appearance of the wound site, tissue flexibility, size and mobility.
