Chemical peeling in the treatment of acne (acne)

Chemical Peel:

Chemical peeling is mostly used for the treatment of spots, scars and wrinkles. The procedure is performed by applying a peeling solution to the skin, which has a healing effect by penetrating into the deep layers of the skin.

Chemical peeling is classified as superficial, medium and deep according to the depth level of the process. This classification is made according to which layer of the skin peeling occurs. Today, superficial and medium depth applications are made more frequently. Instead of deep peeling applications, laser peeling method is more preferred.

The most commonly used substances in superficial peeling are alpha hydroxy acids (AHA), beta hydroxy acid (BHA), Jessner solution and low concentration trichloroacetic acid (TCA). All these products have an effect of increasing peeling on the skin. Thus, cell renewal is accelerated.

Reasons for superficial peeling application;
