Advice after tooth extraction

Our patients who have had tooth extraction should pay attention to the following points:

1. Bite the tampon placed on the extraction site continuously for 20 minutes.

2. After tooth extraction, do not eat or drink anything until the numbness in the lip and tongue area is gone.

3. Avoid the consumption of extremely hard and extremely hot foods for two or three days.

4. If you are a smoker, if you can’t do it for a few days after the shooting, at least do not smoke on the day of the shooting.

5. Do not use aspirin as a pain reliever. Only use the drugs prescribed for you by your doctor.

6. It is normal to have blood with saliva for 1-2 days after tooth extraction. Do not spit frequently, swallow the bloody saliva accumulated in your mouth.

7. Do not suck your tongue into the gravitational cavity.

Wishing you healthy and happy days…
